Have you heard about Freecycle? The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 5,310 groups with 9,258,111 members around the world, and next door to you. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns and neighborhoods. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by local volunteers (them's good people). Membership is free. Click the Freecycle button below to find the nearest network. Have fun!
Got Textiles?
Did you know there are clothing/textile recycling bins at all 3 schools in EB?
Did you also know that recycling clothes and textiles generate money for the PTO? The PTO uses the money collected to fund events/programs at the schools that benefit all the kids. Baystate textiles has partnered with the school department to provide the bins, empty them and pay for what they collect.
Please consider dropping off you used clothing in one of these bins.
